WEBSTER - After a convincing 15-0 victory, the Webster Little League team was crowned District 4 Champions over the weekend, keeping their dreams of heading to the Little League World Series alive.
"It feels good but it's defiantly got some nerves," smiled catcher Parker Holden. "Pretty nervous but it feels amazing."
Next up is the New York State Sectionals which begins Sunday in Batavia.
Webster is the last remaining team in Rochester and is proud to carry the torch to represent the area in Williamsport.
"We've had a lot of support from the other teams. Pittsford, Penfield they've all wished us luck going forward,' added head coach Dennis Enser.
"It's really exciting because like living up to a dream that's just something really cool to do," laughed Nicholas Olmo. "But it's a little bit of pressure. Not going to lie, but I feel like we'll be able to pull through and just get there."
