Victor handled business in its first game after a rare loss to a Section V opponent with a 17-10 win over Hilton on Thursday.
The Blue Devils were on the receiving end of a second half comeback from Fairport on Tuesday, failing to hold a 6-2 lead before losing 10-9.
Tuesday’s loss marked only the second time since the 2014 season where Victor lost to a Section V opponent.
The game broke open in the second quarter for Victor. After Hilton rallied from 2-0 down to draw level 2-2, the Blue Devils then scored the next nine goals to put the result out of reach.
Victor improves to 3-1 with the win while Hilton drops to 2-1.
