Jesse King scored five goals to lead the Rattlers over Chesapeake 18-14 in Rochester’s first game at their new home–Aquinas Institute.

Jeremy Boltus added four goals and Ned Crotty scored three for the Rattlers who won their first game of the season after three road defeats.

Jordan MacIntosh broke a 3-3 tie late in the first quarter to give Rochester the lead for good. The Rattlers then opened the second quarter with three straight goals to create some cushion.

Chesapeake never scored back to back goals until the fourth quarter when Rochester had already built a 17-12 advantage.

The Rattlers are home again on Thursday to face the Ohio Machine. Faceoff is 7:30pm.
