The Rochester Rattlers won a huge game against the Denver Outlaws 18-12 at Capelli Sport Stadium in Rochester.  This was the second win in a row at home for the Rattlers as they beat the Boston Cannons on Sunday, 21-9. With the win, the Rattlers move to 6-6 on the 2017 season.

Denver held a 5-3 lead in the first quarter before the Rattlers exploded in the second quarter, ripping off six straight goals to take a 9-5 advantage. Rochester never trailed again.

John Grant, Jr. was in the building Thursday as the offensive coordinator for the Outlaws. It was his first game after announcing his retirement from indoor lacrosse on Monday. It was his last official retirement after doing the same for international and outdoor lacrosse.

Rochester’s offense came on fire without one of the best players in the MLL, Jordan Wolf, who was out due to injury.

With the win over the Outlaws, Rochester hits the road against the Atlanta Blaze next Saturday before they return home to Capelli Sport Stadium for the season finale on Saturday, August 5th against the Ohio Machine. The Rattlers beat the Machine on May 6th, 12-11 in Ohio.
