Pittsford girls lacrosse improves to 15-0

The No. 3 ranked girls lacrosse team in the country kept on winning Monday night. 

Kacie Mooney scored in the final minute of the first half to give the Panthers a 4-3 at the break.

In the second half, Meghan Hoffman scored a diving backhanded goal to pull the Braves within one at 7-6. That was as close as Canandaigua would get.

Pittsford scored the final five goals of the contest to pull away and remain undefeated.

Rush-Henrietta 19 Fairport 9

Maddy George scored a game-high four goals to lead the Royal Comets to victory Monday afternoon.

Teammate Rachel Crane chipped in three goals of her own and finished with a game-high five points.

Rush-Henrietta led by two at halftime before outscoring Fairport 12-4 in the second half.

Cameryn Dera and Hannah Shin each had two goals for the Red Raiders.

Rush-Henrietta improves to 12-3 while Fairport falls to 11-4

Brighton 13 Spencerport 8

Susan Lafountain scored four times and teammates Kathryn Smolensky, Rene Gangarosa and Katie Lederman each had four points for Brighton.

The Barons pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Rangers 7-3 over the final 25 minutes.

Erin Coykendall scored twice and finished with a team-high three points for Spencerport.

Brighton improves to 10-4 while Spencerport falls to 10-5
