Aquinas 49 (VI)St Joes 21

Tyler Szalkowski finished the afternoon 23 of 28 for 484 yards passing and seven touchdowns.

The Aquinas sophomore was one passing touchdown shy of the Section V single-game record. Szalkowski was also two yards short of the most passing yards in a game. Both records are currently held by former Aquinas quarterback Jake Zembiec.

Ulysses Russell had 5 catches for 180 yards and three touchdown receptions.

Kobe McNair, James Jones and Ruben Torres each caught a touchdown.

Lil’ Irish improve to 4-0. 

Pittsford 20 Fairport 17

LaVonte Bond scored the game-winning touchdown for the Panthers with 1:28 remaining in the 4th quarter. The 28-yard score was Pittsford’s first points since the first quarter.

Pittsford improves to 2-2. Fairport falls to 3-1. 

Wilson 39 Monroe 0

Rickey Gamble Jr. scored a defensive touchdown, caught a touchdown pass and had a 36-yard rushing touchdown to power Wilson to their 4th straight win.

Desi Floyd rushed for 227 yards and two scores on 19 carries.

East 26 Edison 0

Anthony Gilbert went 12 of 15 through the air for 187 yards and two scores for the Eagles. Seven McGee had 51 yards on the ground and 95-yards receiving, including a 50 yard touchdown before halftime.

Freddy Brock and Malik McCray each had a touchdown.

East moves to 3-0 on the season.

Brighton 24 Gates-Chili 0

Ammon Jordan scored twice on the ground to power the Barons to their first win of the season.

Brighton is now 1-3 on the season. Gates-Chili falls to 2-2.

Brockport 31 Athena 13

Kyle Palka threw three touchdowns to Jose Solis and ran one as the Blue Devils knocked off the Trojans.

Sam Sheldon had a rushing touchdown for Athena.

Brockport and Athena are now both 2-2.
