Wilson 12, East 6 (Postponed – Halftime)
For the 3rd game in a row, East opening their first play on offense with a touchdown. Anthony Gilbert hit Mike Maxwell for a 64-yard touchdown to give the Eagles a 6-0 lead.
The score remained the same until midway through the 2nd quarter. Wilson responded with a long drive capped of by a Desi Floyd 25-yard touchdown run to tie the game.
After the touchdown, fights broke out in the stands of a packed Marina Auto Stadium.
The fights then spilled over into the concourse where police arrive to contain the situation.
After a lengthy delay, play resumed and Floyd scored his second touchdown of the quarter to give the Wildcats the lead.
More fights ensued after the stadium was cleared and the game was officially postponed at halftime.
No makeup dates has been announced.
Fairport 21, Rush-Henrietta 14
The Red Raiders jumped out in the second half with back-to-back touchdowns to take a 21-7 lead at R-H and appeared ready to cruise to victory.
Late turnovers and a 4th quarter touchdown from the Royal Comets made Fairport sweat out the win on a day where everyone was looking for relief from the heat.
Fairport now sits 3-0 in Class AA and hosts Pittsford next weekend.
Arcadia 36, Olympia/Odyssey 26
K’myn Crumity carried the abll 30 times for 221 yards and 4 rushing touchdown for the Titans.
Teammate Brian Shonitsky threw a pair of touchdown passes to Shakim Harris.
A’lon Jenkins threw for 222 yards and two scores for the Spartans. Travon Harper had a kickoff return touchdown and a rushing touchdown.
Arcadia improves to 3-0.
Honeoye Falls-Lima 28, Monroe 24
Mason Ferrera and Turner Wilson each scored two touchdown for the Cougars.
TyQuil Glascow had a pair of touchdown catches including 96-yard score. Quentin Everett and Kerone Kearse each score for Monroe.
HF-L improves to 2-1. Monroe falls to 1-2.
