Edison star Dyaisha Fair had her choice of D1 schools in the northeast to play basketball at.
In the end, she selected the University of Buffalo because it felt like home.
Fair signed her national letter of intent Tuesday. She will follow in the footsteps of former Section V standout and Gates-Chili grad Cierra Dillard, who is a current star at UB.
The Bulls are the defending MAAC conferences champions and made it to Sweet Sixteen last season.
Fair has worked a long time to be a D1 athlete and she hopes to inspire others to do the same.
“It’s been my dream since God knows how long. I’m just so overwhelmed with it all, it’s just so hard to show it,” smiled Fair.
