Marcell Dareus is the subject of two separate sexual assault lawsuits.

The first incident happened at a Tampa party in January of 2017. A woman accuses Dareus and his entourage of sexually assaulting her.

There is a hearing scheduled for August 9th where Dareus lawyers will attempt to get the lawsuit thrown out.

The second case is much more unusual.

A woman in Texas is suing Dareus because she claims he gave her an STD while she was unconscious.

The unidentified woman says she and Dareus went on a date in Houston April 7 and ended up together in a hotel room. The woman fell asleep and awoke, not knowing what happened the night before. Dareus told her they had sex.

The two spent time together the next two days and had sex again on multiple occasions. The woman felt pain later that week. She went to see a doctor who diagnosed her with herpes.

There have not yet been any criminal complaints or charges made public in either case.

The Bills traded Dareus to Jacksonville at the trade deadline last season for a conditional draft pick that turned out to be a 5th rounder in last April’s draft. Buffalo used that pick on guard Wyatt Teller.
