Companies and organizations take part in Habitat for Humanity’s ‘Leader Build’ program

Local Sports

Leaders from more than 25 local companies and organizations left their offices Friday for a little dirty work.

Throughout the day, this group worked on laying out a foundation for a new build. It’s part of the Habitat for Humanity’s “Leader Build Fridays” program.

It runs every Friday until September. The VP of ComTec Solutions says being able to help those in need is the greatest payoff.

“I love the fact that we can be hands-on and help really build something that we can drive by and say ‘Hey we were part of building that house,'” said Mary Cronin. “Hopefully a family will be as happy as our family is in our home and be able to share that experience.”

There are still open spots on the sessions in July. To learn more about the “Leaders Build” program, click here.
