Sam Barnhart scored five goals and Amaya Soto added four more as Waterloo cruised past the Irish in Rochester on Wednesday.
The first half was wild in this game, featuring 19 of the 25 total goals scored.
Waterloo scored three of four to break a 1-1 tie early and then added a three goal run that pushed the lead to 9-3. The Indians dominated the rest of the way.
It was the first game of the year for Waterloo. Aquinas fell to 1-1.
Brighton 19, Mercy 4
The Barons opened the season with an emphatic win at Our Lady of Mercy.
With Brighton in front 8-3 late in the 1st half, Kathryn Smolensky scored to put the Barons up by six. The Barons then scored 10 of the next 11 goals to put the game away.
