The Amerks braved the windstorm last Wednesday and played.
Not so, this Wednesday.
The team announced its home game against Binghamton Wednesday night will be postponed and made up Wednesday, April 5th.
Binghamton was even harder hit with snow than Rochester. The city set a record for snow in a 24 hour period with 31.3 inches between Tuesday and Wednesday.
The old record was 23 inches. It was set in 1961.
All fans with tickets to the postponed game can redeem them for a ticket to any remaining Amerks home game, including the makeup date.
The new game means Rochester will play four games in five days starting April 5th. Binghamton will play three games in four days
Both teams are languishing at the bottom of the North Division standings and could easily be eliminated from postseason contention by the time the makeup game is played.
