Aquinas senior Jalen Pickett scored early and often as the L’il Irish topped Edison Tech 74-53 on Wednesday. The senior ended the night with 30 points thanks in part to five 3-pointers.
Pickett’s senior teammate Jason Hawkes added 14 points and 8 assists for Aquinas. Aquinas opened the game on an 11-2 run.
The L’il Irish improve to 9-2 this season while Edison falls to 7-5. The Inventors were led by Marique Simkin’s 23 points.
