After dominating throughout the first half, (3)McQuaid rolled to an 18-6 win over (6)Canandaigua on Wednesday night in the Class B quarterfinals.
The Knights led 5-1 after the first quarter, and 8-2 at halftime.
Jack Billitier led McQuaid with 5 goals, while James Merkley scored 4 goals of his own. Max Ettinghausen chipped in three goals and two assists for the Knights.
McQuaid will next face (2)Webster Thomas in the Class B semifinals on Saturday, May 26th at 1:30pm at Fairport High School.
