Saturday night Canandaigua snapped the two time defending state champions streak.

The Braves jump out to a 1-0 lead but the Blue Devils would score the next three to take the lead into half.

In the 3rd quarter, The Academy would answer with four unanswered goals and shutout Victor in the frame and 4-3 into the 4th.

Victor would tie the game early in the final quarter and the teams would trade goals.

Tied at 5-5, the Braves would force a Blue Devils turnover behind their own net which allowed Carson Greene to pick up the loose ball and give the home team the lead with 7:14 remaining.

The Braves would use the clock and Alex Burley would give Canandaigua some insurance as he would score with 2:43 remaining.

Braves goaltender Brandon Moore finished with double digit saves as he helped pull off the upset holding Victor to just two goals in the second half.

Canandaigua improves to 10-4 on the season while Victor falls to 9-2
