After not traveling with the team to Kansas City, Sean McDermott said that Kelvin Benjamin made progress over the weekend and will be ‘day-to-day’ moving forward.
On Sunday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Benjamin had a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Monday, McDermott was asked by a reporter if that report was accurate. He said, ‘no.’
About twenty minutes after the press conference ended, the Bills PR staff informed the media that Benjamin does, in fact, have a torn meniscus and that McDermott misunderstood the question.
The Bills and McDermott have not placed a timetable on Benjamin’s return.
