Webster students studying bugs at Webster Public Library

WEBSTER, N.Y. (WROC)– Students from Webster earned their spots on the News 8 Honor Roll on Tuesday morning.

The group stopped by the Webster Public Library to participate in a bugs program. They made bug jars and journals then walked the Hickory Bark Woods Trail to collect and identify bugs.

The bugs were all safely released to the wild along with the library’s summer pet praying mantis.
