ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man was hospitalized with what police called life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Rochester Tuesday.

Police say a man in his 40s was shot in his vehicle around 6:13 p.m. on Schwartz Street near Shelter Street. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Schwartz Street and Shelter Street remain closed for the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
