ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The pedestrian struck and killed by a train in Wayne County Thursday has been identified.

According to Macedon police, witnesses saw it happen at the Wayneport Road railroad crossing around 12:40 p.m. The pedestrian, Gregory Harrison, age 51, died at the scene.

Wayneport Road was closed from Eastpark Drive to Quaker Road for the investigation. Police said they are currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the incident.
