Rochester, NY (WROC)- Nurses from around the country are being honored today. It’s part of National Nurses Day, a day that’s celebrated on Wednesdays during National Nurses Week. Hannah Bayram has been a nurse for five years. She says the profession has had a large impact on her life.
It’s very emotional, very rewarding,” said Bayram. “Sometimes, it’s frustrating and it’s definitely an honor to be able to be there for people when they need us the most.”
Nurses Week ends on May 12th, which is also Florence Nightingale’s birthday.
