With the holiday season upon us, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention want to remind cookie bakers to “say no to raw dough.”
The CDC is reminding all holiday bakers that consuming raw cookie or bread dough can make you sick. The flour and raw egg in the doughs can carry bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella which can lead to food poisoning.
