New York announces special enrollment period for uninsured as coronavirus cases climb

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The New York State of Health and the State Department of Financial Services will offer a special enrollment period for uninsured New Yorkers.

This is to help protect people during the COVID-19 public health emergency. People who enroll in qualified health plans between now and April 15 will have coverage starting April 1.
