Steady rain will continue into the mid-afternoon before becoming a bit more scattered with some breaks late afternoon and evening. That being said, off and on rain will continue through tonight and early Thursday. A rumble of thunder can’t be ruled out later this evening, which could produce pockets of heavier rain.
Rainfall amounts will range from 3/4 of an inch up to 1.5″ in spots today & tonight, which may lead to localized ponding on area roadways and some minor flooding.
Temperatures stay in the 30s for much of the day, but milder air lifts northward later this afternoon, bumping us into the 40s, maybe even upper 40s into the Finger Lakes.
Temperatures plummet on Thursday with showers changing over to some snow.
