Fire crews were called to North Goodman Street just before 2 on Tuesday morning.
We’re told the fire started on the front porch and extended to the roof. Part of the roof was removed due to the damage. The porch was gutted.
No injuries have been reported. The structure is still under evaluation.
Another fire was ongoing a few blocks away on Mt. Hope. Multiple Monroe County Fire units were called into man the city’s empty firehouses.
