Police arrest one after large fight overnight

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department was called to large crowds fighting overnight Saturday outside Monroe Avenue in Rochester.

Monroe Avenue between Meigs Street and S Goodman Street was shut down from 2-3 a.m. Police say there were between 200-300 people in the crowd.

The RPD arrested one Rochester resident for disorderly conduct. Monroe Avenue has since reopened.
