The Justice Department is set to announce, as early as next week, that Robert Mueller’s report into the Russia investigation is complete, CNN reports.
A summary of the confidential report would then be submitted to Congress, sources tell CNN.
However, the report says the timing of the release could shift around the president’s trip to North Korea next week. It’s also not clear how long it will take for the report to make it to Congress.
CNN says, under law, the Justice Department isn’t required to share the full report to Congress or the public, so it’s not clear how much of the investigation may be made public.
