A Clay man has been accused of breaking into an apartment and choking a pregnant woman.
Darnell E. Holland, 24, of Clay, is facing burglary charges after entering an apartment, looking for someone who he was having a dispute over money.
Instead, he found a pregnant female resident of the apartment and choked her, then fled the scene.
Holland was later taken into custody.
