Actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry has lent his support to the family of a Wisconsin woman who was killed in Georgia.
45-year-old Tynesha Evans was reportedly killed Saturday morning outside of a bank near Atlanta. Her 58-year-old boyfriend, Othniel Inniss, was arrested for the crime.
Evans was an author, full time health care worker, and single mom.
Her family launched a fundraising campaign to stave off eviction.
Perry’s support will allow for Evans body to be flown back to Wisconsin for burial, and to cover her 18-year-old daughter’s college tuition.
Two of Evans’ children are still minors. According to WITI, 14-year-old Shakemia Tuner called Perry “and angel on Earth.”
