Facebook’s website has reportedly crashed Monday afternoon.

Some users trying to access the site receive a message saying “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.”

Users online reported a brief outage before a more extended event that began at about 1 p.m.

UPDATE (1:33 p.m.): Facebook appears to be back up. The cause of the outage is unclear.
