A Greece woman has been charged with DWI after crashing into a bridge Tuesday night.

Police were called to W. Broad Street just after 11:15 p.m. for the report of an accident. They discovered a Ford Taurus driven by 53-year-old Benita Zanders was damaged extensively after crashing into a railroad bridge abutment and a metal pole.

Zanders was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

Police determined that alcohol was a factor in the crash. Zanders was charged with felony DWI due to a previous conviction.
