Snow, sleet and freezing rain continue to move in this afternoon, with the predominate precip-type being snow and sleet. Freezing rain becomes more widespread overnight tonight.
Because of this slick mix, a Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect this evening into the overnight.
Ice accumulations will range from a trace into the Finger Lakes, while a few tenths of an inch, maybe up to a quarter of an inch may accumulate for the metro and lakeside. This shouldn’t be enough to create power outages, but Thursday morning’s commute will likely be slick.
Stay tuned for updates.
