William Lewek has been released from prison

The Rochester psychiatrist who was sentenced in connection to the death of a man has been released.

According to records, 65-year-old William Lewek was released on Thursday after serving time for tampering with evidence in the death of 32-year-old Matthew Straton.

Lewek, who has lost his medical license, pleaded guilty in February 2015 to burying Straton’s body in the backyard of his home on Rowley Street.
