Whole Foods project approved by Brighton Planning Board

The town of Brighton is still moving forward with a plan to bring a Whole Foods store to Monroe Avenue.

The project was approved back in March for a site on Monroe Avenue between 590 and Clover Street. It went before the planning board again Monday night for routine matters.  

There is still no set timeline for when construction will begin.Two lawsuits are still pending against the project.

Developers still have yet to obtain the proper building permits.
