Imagine the surprise of Australian customs officers when they chanced upon a baby koala after arresting a woman for “outstanding” matters.
The women confessed she had kidnapped the koala because he looked cute.
Police in Brisbane said that when they asked the 50-year old woman if she had anything to declare on Sunday night, she handed over a zipped canvas bag that she said contained a baby koala.
The baby koala weighs about 3 pounds and has since been named Alfred.
