BROCKPORT, N.Y. (WROC) — According to both the Village of Brockport and SUNY Brockport, a water main break in the area has prompted the Monroe County Water Authority to issue a “boil water advisory.”
The village says that until the Water Authority can provide a more specific time frame, they’re asking all residents to boil all water meant for consumption.
The Monroe County Water authority released another statement Friday evening adding that the towns of Sweden and Clarkson are also impacted by the main break and are under a boil advisory.
