The Villa of Hope held a grand opening Wednesday for the new outpatient behavioral health services unit at Village Gate in Rochester.
The wait time in this community for youth mental health services can be as long as 8 to 12 weeks. This new outpatient clinic will help serve more children, adolescents, young adults and their families.
“They can get an assessment here, and then based on that assessment, we will design the treatment, they will with a specialized clinician, then they will work with therapy, play therapy,” says Christina Gullo, President and CEO of Villa of Hope.
Villa of Hope serves more than 2,000 young people each year.
