Local News

Upstate Social Sessions has returned to Rochester for a third year. The day long social media conference, which features local and national experts, was held at the George Eastman Museum.

The event attracts people from many different occupations including some who work for agencies, others that own their own businesses and even people who just want to know a little bit more about social media.

“One thing we really want to do is give people who are in upstate New York the chance to network with each other, share what they’ve learned from their own social media experiences,” ” said co-founder Danielle Raymo.”…and get to talk to the people who they see online all the time and interact with a lot of the times online, but don’t necessarily get to meet in person.”

The conference also features there will be breakout sessions related to food photography, creating a digital identity and taking your online community offline.
