UPDATE: Rochester Police identify shooting victim, continue investigation

Rochester Police officers are investigating a shooting in the City, where a man was shot multiple times. 

Thursday morning officers identified the victim as 26 year old Michael Cooper from Rochester.

Police say the shooting possibly occurred around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday but that police do not have a location for the incident at this time. Police say Cooper was dropped off at Norfolk Street after being shot. 

The man is currently at Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life threatening.
