The U.S. Brig Niagara sailed into the Port of Rochester Marina Thursday morning.
Niagara was lead into Rochester by native Captain David Goldman. The replica War of 1812 ship is in Rochester through Monday. Visitors can board the ship for a deck tour on the following dates:
– Friday, July 28 from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.
– Saturday, July 29 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
– Sunday, July 30 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
While Niagara is in port, visitors have the opportunity to experience first-hand a tall ship under full sail. The four-hour sail is scheduled for 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Monday, July 31. Guests are also welcome to join the crew for an exclusive dockside reception on Saturday, July 29 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Niagara will be donating $1 of every paid ticket to The Strong Museum.
