Two local Wegmans stores will no longer be open 24/7 come early June.
Wegmans spokesperson Jo Natale confirmed on Sunday that the Wegmans affected are the ones in Gates on Lyell Avenue and in Irondequoit on E Ridge Road.
These Wegmans made this decision due to less traffic in those areas and those stores are “shifting employee resources.”
Natale said this will not result in any job cuts to these Wegmans stores.
This is expected to take effect on June 9. No other Wegmans in Monroe County will be affected.
