The two firefighters injured are in stable condition Wednesday night, according to the Rochester Fire Department.
No one was home at the time of the fire. Red Cross was called, but not needed for the one individual who lives there. The home is deemed unlivable at this time.
An RTS bus was called in for firefighters to warm up because of the cold.
An investigation is ongoing.
Two Rochester firefighters were hurt Wednesday night after flames torched a home on Richland Street.
Crews were called to the home around 5:10 p.m, for reports of a fire. At the scene, crews found flames coming from the second story.
During the fight, officials say one firefighter fell through the attic and landed on another firefighter.
Both firefighters are receiving medical treatment, but are expected to be okay.
