The Thruway Authority is starting two bridge repair projects that will impact traffic in Ontario and Seneca counties.
Starting Wednesday, the authority will close the Route 21 bridge over the Thruway in the Town of Manchester. Traffic will be re-routed from the Outlet Road to County Road 7 back to Route 31.
Also starting Wednesday, the bridge that carries Whiskey Hill Road in Seneca County over the Thruway will be closing.
That closure is part of a $1.4million project to replace the deck and other safety upgrades. Detours will be posted.
Both closures are expected to last into November.
