Turk Hill Road re-opens after crash Friday morning

Local News

Power is out for some people in Perinton after a truck crash on Turk Hill Road.

Deputies say a tractor trailer was headed north on the road when it lost control on snow and ice, went off the road and hit a power pole.

Turk Hill Road is now closed between Route 31 and Garnsey Road as crews work to restore power and clean up the scene.

UPDATE (1 p.m.): Turk Hill Road has been re-opened and power is back on for residents, deputies report.

We’re told the truck has been towed from the scene.

The driver, Martinez McCarver, has been cited for driving too fast for road conditions.
