More than a thousand people are without power after a boom from a cement truck hit a power line.
We’re told the accident happened on Shallow Brook Terrace in Webster Tuesday afternoon. As of 4 p.m., more than 1,700 residents were without power.
We’re told the accident started a small fire. The man operating the boom was also shocked during the incident. Firefighters say he was alert when he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to RG&E’s website, power should be restored at 5 p.m.
