State police have released the identity of the man killed in the shooting last week in Waterloo that left two people dead and another person hurt.
Troopers say 45-year-old Charlie Andrus was shot and killed along with Lori McConnell at a home on Virginia Street last Tuesday. Another woman, Karen Zdunko, was hurt in the shooting.
Following a search, troopers arrested Emerson Tohafjian and charged him with two counts of murder for the shooting. Family members say Tohafjian used to date McConnell and was obsessive.
News 8 learned Tohafjian was arrested twice during the month of June for domestic violence against McConnell but had made bail both times.
He was arraigned Friday afternoon in Waterloo Town Court.
