Lake effect snow is making travel difficult in Livingston County.
The sheriff has issued a travel advisory in response.
Sheriff Dougherty writes in a post: “The combination of snow and wind are causing white out conditions. Please slow your speeds and drive ready to encounter white outs.”
The travel advisory doesn’t restrict travel, but warns drivers that road conditions could be hazardous.
The advisory is in effect until 8 p.m.
