The Monroe County Office of the Sheriff has reported that around 9:00 Friday evening two suspects entered the Tim Horton’s located at 908 Fairport Road armed with handguns. The suspects were wearing hoodies and had bandanas covering their faces.
Deputies say the suspects threatened the night manager and clerk, one suspect putting a gun to the manager’s head. The suspects demanded money and left the location with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects exited the business through a rear door.
According to deputies, one of the employees called 911 giving a description of the suspects to the operator. A deputy responding to the robbery spotted a vehicle with three male passengers who fit the description of the suspects. Deputies observed two black handguns in plain view inside of the vehicle. It was later learned that the guns were BB guns.
Deputies say a K-9 track was conducted and concluded at a location where a witness saw the suspects get into an awaiting vehicle.
The suspects, Malcom X. Frazier, 24 of Penfield, Christopher F. Smith, 21 of Rochester, and Akheem W. Rhodes, 23 of Rochester, were each charged with two counts of robbery in the second degree.
Deputies say the suspects were arraigned by an East Rochester judge and remanded to the the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 bond.
