Thousands of runners got doused in color in Saturday’s color run at Frontier Field.
The color run Tropicolor World Tour incorporates color, scents, the shade of palm trees, and island-style music with a 5k.
We asked the participants why the experience is such a blast.
“Mainly the color and the after party, and everyone… I don’t know, it’s a fun time!” said participants Eric Aronica and Kirsten Nice. “Everyone’s happy. Yeah, everyone seems happy.”
“Going through the colors,” said participant Jessica Apthorpe. “We rolled… we went down to the ground and rolled in the colors, it was so fun. “
The Rochester Color Run is benefiting 13Thirty Cancer Connect, a non-profit that supports teens and young adults that have cancer.
