The Who coming to Buffalo in May

The Who will be making a stop in Buffalo this spring.

As part of the group’s Moving On! tour, the legendary rock band will perform at the KeyBank Center on May 9.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Prices range from $67.50 to $333.50.

Weather forecast: Snow overnight as winds ramp up

A massive storm system that brought snow, wind, and rain to much of the United States is now in the Northeast and we are watching the winds slowly start to pick up out of the west. That will allow for lake-effect snow showers to start to pick up overnight and into early Sunday morning. Those snow showers continue off and on Sunday with a westerly breeze gusting 20-30 mph. Temperatures climb to the middle 30s. A trace to an inch or so possible around Rochester, but higher amounts will be possible through Sunday afternoon across Genesee, Wyoming, and Wayne Counties up to two to three inches.

Round two comes Monday morning with a meandering lake-effect snow band that could bring another inch or two to Rochester and make morning travel difficult for those that work on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Otherwise it is a partly cloudy day with temperatures holding around 30°. Expect wind chills to be in the 20s. This may be enough for many to get the snowblower going again and it is likely there will be salt trucks running through the first part of the work week.

Monroe County lawmaker admits sending inappropriate photo, says photo was for wife

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) -- A lawmaker in the Monroe County Legislature is admitting to sending an inappropriate photo to "an individual with whom [he] was working."

Ernest Flagler Mitchell (D-29), a Monroe County lawmaker who has been in the legislature since 2015, released a statement claiming an inappropriate photo was meant for his wife.
