Ten lucky students headed to Earthworks camp

Local News

It’s a perfect summer to spend outdoors for ten lucky students at the Rochester’s Center for Youth and the Allendale-Columbia School.

They’ll be heading off to Earthworks camp, a five day experience where kids will spend a six full hours in the woods each day to learn about environmental conservation.

“We are so very grateful to each of our partners for their support in this critical pursuit to ensure that all children in Rochester, despite family income level, or location of residence, enjoy an endless world of possibilities for living and learning,” said Lindsay Cray, the director and co-founder of Earthworks Institute.

The summer camp program was made possible by a $25,000 state grant.
